Traffic on Basarab Passage will normalize in September, with ongoing repairs until the end of the year. Mayor Ciprian Ciucu announced that most restrictions will be lifted with the start of school, while remaining work will be done in short segments. Approximately 70 workers are currently on site, focusing on joints and finishing the metal deck. The passage, inaugurated in 2011, has faced maintenance issues, leading to the current rehabilitation efforts that began in June.
