Pasajul Apărătorii Patriei din București prinde contur

Construction of the Apărătorii Patriei Overpass in Sector 4 of Bucharest is progressing, with the first eccentric pillar installed. The overpass will span Berceni Road, connecting Turnu Măgurele Street and Sergent Ion Iriceanu Street, measuring approximately 860 meters in length with two traffic lanes in each direction. The project, valued at nearly 20 million euros, is funded by the local budget of Sector 4, with contributions from the Bucharest Municipality. Recent work includes the installation of metal elements and the first asphalt layer. Completion is expected by the end of the year, alongside plans for a new tram line linking Giurgiului Road to Pipera.
