Dedeman is set to open a new store in Giurgiu, marking its presence in every county of Romania. The company is currently working on obtaining construction permits for the six-hectare land purchased near the Giurgiu border. The new store will include a commercial gallery and a fast-food unit, enhancing its appeal to customers, including those from Bulgaria. Despite not opening any stores this year, Dedeman plans to launch two new locations soon. The company has also expanded internationally by acquiring the Praktiker chain in Greece and is looking to enter the Moldovan market. Dedeman operates 65 stores nationwide and reported a revenue of over 13 billion lei last year, reflecting a 7% increase from 2024.
