The Brăila–Galați Expressway project is nearing completion, with 97% physical progress reported. The last section of the metal deck for the bridge over the Siret River has been installed. The project, spanning nearly 11 kilometers, is expected to be finished this year. The bridge structure measures 1,790 meters in total and is crucial for the expressway. The construction contract, valued at 449.42 million lei, is managed by UMB Spedition, with funding from the Transport Program 2021–2027. Final works include waterproofing and asphalt layering, followed by road markings and signage installation.
