Following a meeting with Manfred Weber, Magyar expressed optimism about Hungary's future relations with the EU, emphasizing changes in the country and the need for support to avoid hefty fines related to refugee policies. He reiterated Hungary's commitment to border control and plans to seek reimbursement for previous fines during upcoming EU budget negotiations. Magyar is set to meet with European Council President Antonio Costa to discuss the future EU budget.
