Partidul REPER îi cere lui Nicușor Dan să acţioneze pentru protecţia avertizorilor din sistemul judiciar

The REPER party has submitted a memorandum to President Nicușor Dan, advocating for the protection of whistleblowers in the judiciary and calling for reforms in justice laws. They emphasize the need for clear legal protections for those reporting institutional irregularities and urge the inclusion of judges and prosecutors under the Whistleblower Law. REPER also requests the establishment of a dedicated reporting channel and procedural guarantees against reprisals. They highlight the importance of safeguarding whistleblowers to maintain a credible judicial system and express concerns over the current restrictive interpretations by the Superior Council of Magistracy. The memorandum is partly motivated by the case of magistrate Laurențiu Beșu, currently under disciplinary investigation for exposing judicial issues.
