Parola nu mai este suficientă. O singură măsură poate bloca accesul atacatorilor la cont

Romanian cybersecurity experts emphasize the importance of multifactor authentication (MFA) for online account protection. MFA requires users to verify their identity through an additional method beyond just a password. This can include confirmation via an authentication app, entering a unique code, or using a security key. The National Cyber Security Directorate (DNSC) warns users against approving unexpected authentication requests, as they may indicate unauthorized access attempts. Users should also avoid sharing authentication codes and activate MFA for email, social media, and financial accounts. Strong, unique passwords for each account are essential to prevent account compromise, which has surged in Romania, with a 353% increase in account breaches reported in 2025.
