Parlamentul European nu va vota un buget multianual al UE care ar putea conține tăieri periculoase pentru România, dă asigurări Siegfried Mureșan - Economica.net
The European Parliament will not support a budget for 2028-2034 that proposes dangerous cuts for Romania or any EU member state, as stated by MEP Siegfried Mureșan. He emphasized the need for a budget increase to address citizens' expectations for more support in agriculture, security, and competitiveness. Mureșan highlighted that if frugal states push for cuts, challenges will remain unresolved and may lead to higher national expenditures. He also mentioned a mandatory review clause for future EU expansions, which would necessitate budget adjustments for new member states. The Parliament is set to debate the future budget framework, advocating for a 10% increase over the Commission's proposal to support essential priorities.
