Parlamentul European invocă amenințarea comercială a Chinei în plină dispută pe bugetul UE: „Toate acestea costă bani”
The European Union aims to respond more swiftly to industrial subsidies and unfair trade practices affecting European producers, particularly concerning China. Bernd Lange, head of the European Parliament's International Trade Committee, advocates for a budget that allows for faster investigations and additional personnel. However, EU leaders are negotiating a significantly reduced multiannual budget for 2028-2034. Lange emphasizes the need for a stronger EU industrial capacity and reduced dependencies on critical supply chains. He calls for reforms to expedite investigations and simplify procedures, linking these needs to the EU's financial resources. The ongoing budget discussions reflect a balance between competitiveness investments and traditional policies like agriculture and cohesion funds, with an agreement sought by the end of 2026 to avoid funding disruptions in 2028.
