The Romanian Parliament is seeking explanations regarding the cyber attack on the National Agency for Cadastre and Land Registration (ANCPI). IT committees from both the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate will meet to discuss the incident's management. Representatives from various institutions, including ANCPI and the National Cyber Security Directorate, have been invited to present reports on the attack's causes and the measures taken. The cyber attack, which occurred on July 15, led to significant disruptions in ANCPI's services, affecting notaries, banks, and real estate transactions. The Parliament has extended the deadline for certain housing purchases to mitigate the impact on buyers.
