Parlamentul bulgar aprobă desfăşurarea a până la 8 aeronave-cisternă americane KC-135 şi a 250 de militari la baza aeriană Bezmer

The Bulgarian Parliament has approved the deployment of up to eight US KC-135 refueling aircraft and 250 armed personnel at Bezmer Air Base from July 24 to October 1, 2026, to support US operations in the Middle East. The proposal was submitted by the Council of Ministers and received majority support, with 136 votes in favor. The decision does not require additional budget allocations for the Ministry of Defense in 2026. Some parties abstained or did not participate in the vote.
