The law was approved by the Chamber of Deputies and awaits presidential promulgation. This extension applies to inheritances where the legal two-year deadline from the date of death falls between July 14 and September 30, 2026. The measure addresses the impact of a cyberattack that disrupted ANCPI's services, preventing notaries from finalizing necessary documents. Additionally, the deadline for reduced VAT on housing purchases has also been extended.
