Parlamentul a adoptat legea care permite Guvernului să plătească datoria către Pfizer

The Romanian Chamber of Deputies approved a law allowing the government to pay a debt to Pfizer, following a Belgian court ruling. The law received support from several parties, while extremist groups opposed it and AUR plans to challenge it in the Constitutional Court. The law introduces new regulations for state transactions, requiring government approval for agreements involving state-owned assets. Romania owes Pfizer approximately 600 million lei after losing a lawsuit regarding vaccine purchases during the pandemic.
