Parlamentarii români vor face cursuri de inteligență artificială cu experți ONU. Inițiativa lui Andrei Baciu

The United Nations will conduct an AI training program in the Romanian Parliament for lawmakers and staff, announced by MP Andrei Baciu. The initiative, approved by the permanent offices of both chambers, will take place from November 10-12, featuring two UN experts from New York and Singapore. The program aims to educate participants on AI's functioning, opportunities, risks, and ethical implications. Baciu emphasizes the need for lawmakers to understand AI before legislating, highlighting its significant impact on society and public policy. He also proposed establishing a parliamentary committee dedicated to AI to enhance institutional capacity and legislative analysis.
