Parisul a propus UE o eliberare masivă de petrol și motorină din rezervele strategice
France has proposed a significant release of oil and diesel from EU strategic reserves in response to US threats of fuel export restrictions. The suggestion includes releasing 50 million barrels of crude oil and 50 million barrels of diesel, currently under technical evaluation. This proposal follows a request from the US for Europe to release 120 million barrels over three months to address rising diesel prices. Germany is hesitant to release reserves, preferring to act only for genuine supply security reasons. France is willing to cooperate, but the coordination of the release remains uncertain. A G7 meeting is expected to be convened to discuss measures to alleviate price pressures and ensure fuel supply.
