The Minister of Environment, Diana Buzoianu, revealed that the National Meteorological Administration (ANM) used official funds for luxury purchases, including perfumes and clothing. A control report indicated that over 455,000 lei were spent on items unrelated to the agency's activities. Buzoianu announced that the report would be sent to the Prosecutor's Office and called for the resignation of ANM's leadership. She emphasized that these findings are just a fraction of the irregularities discovered, and if resignations are not submitted, she will convene an urgent meeting to explore legal options.
