The Plumbuita Park in Bucharest will undergo a complete renovation starting in October, with a budget of 92 million lei. The park will remain open during the works, which are expected to be completed by autumn next year. The project includes refurbishing existing paths and playgrounds, adding new urban furniture, picnic areas, and green spaces. Nearly half of the funding comes from European sources. The renovation aims to enhance the park's facilities while preserving valuable vegetation and introducing an automated irrigation system. The park, established in 1977, has seen little improvement over the past 30 years, with some areas in disrepair.
