Parchetul European, condus de Codruța Kovesi, a făcut 19 percheziții în Iași și Timișoara, într-un dosar de fraudă cu fonduri europene
European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO) conducted searches at 19 locations in Iași and Timișoara related to a €7 million EU funds fraud case. The investigation focuses on alleged public procurement violations involving IT projects funded by the EU. Prosecutors are examining 29 projects under the EU Recovery and Resilience Mechanism and the Operational Program for Administrative Capacity. Evidence suggests a criminal network manipulated procurement procedures to favor selected IT service providers. The investigation is supported by Romanian authorities.
