The underground parking in Civic Center is seen as the first step in reorganizing traffic and parking in Brașov's center. The architects emphasize that any new parking facility should be considered only after assessing the impact of the new mobility measures. Immediate actions are proposed to alleviate traffic congestion, including the activation of the Civic Center parking with around 500 spaces. The architects suggest eliminating certain parking areas that contribute to traffic in the historic center. A second phase will evaluate the need for additional parking based on data collected after the first phase. Proposals also include a two-level underground parking near the City Hall and urban improvements to enhance pedestrian areas.
