Parc fotovoltaic de 9,3 milioane de lei, propus la Aiud. Peste 1.500 de panouri solare și baterii de stocare a energiei

The Alba County Council plans to build a photovoltaic park in Aiud, covering over 15,500 square meters near the Pneumophysiology Hospital. The investment, estimated at 9.28 million lei, will include 1,514 solar panels and energy storage batteries. The energy produced will be used for the county's own consumption and public institutions, aiming to reduce electricity costs and increase energy independence. The project is currently in the feasibility study approval stage, with funding requests to be voted on in October 2026. The park is expected to generate approximately 1.23 million kWh annually, slightly exceeding the estimated annual consumption of the institutions involved. The project aims to recover costs within seven years and reduce greenhouse gas emissions significantly.
