Paraschiv: Întâlnirea cu ministrul Muncii a fost „de complezență”

The meeting between union leaders and interim Minister of Labor Dragoș Pîslaru was deemed unproductive, lacking concrete commitments from the government. Unions called for the resumption of collective negotiations and an increase in the minimum wage to around 5,000 lei gross. Union leader Constantin Paraschiv expressed concerns over the declining living standards of employees and criticized the government's failure to address these issues. He emphasized the need for better coverage of collective labor contracts and indicated that the current government is unlikely to resolve these problems. Protests were held by several federations demanding wage increases and the resumption of negotiations.
