Paradoxul României într-un nou raport internațional: infrastructura digitală este cea mai bună din regiune, rezultatele sunt cele mai slabe. Bulgaria și Serbia trec în fața României la digitalizare - Economica.net
Romania has strong digitalization infrastructure but struggles to translate this into effective benefits for its citizens, according to a SeeNext report. While internet access in households is high at 95.5%, and schools are well-equipped, the country ranks low in digital skills and online interactions with public authorities. Only 24.1% of Romanians engage online with government services, significantly below the EU average. The report highlights a gap between access and actual usage, particularly in education and health services. Romania's digital maturity is hindered by low online engagement and limited digital skills among the population. The report calls for better policies to enhance digital competencies and improve citizen interaction with digital services.
