Paradoxul petrolului în România: Deși suntem în top 3 producători de petrol din UE, avem cele mai mari scumpiri la carburanți
Despite being a top oil producer in the EU, Romania faces higher fuel prices than neighboring countries. The local crude oil production is significant, yet prices are 10-15% higher than in Bulgaria and 6-16% higher than in Serbia and Moldova. In July, Romania recorded the highest annual increase in fuel prices among EU countries, with a rise of 24.2%. This surge impacts both drivers and businesses, as fuel costs directly affect transportation and the pricing of goods and services. Current fuel prices in Romania are notably higher compared to those in Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria, Ukraine, and Moldova.
