Papa Leon, diagnosticat cu cancer pulmonar. Ce au anunțat medicii după operație

Pope Leon XIV has been diagnosed with lung cancer following successful surgery to remove part of his lung. He is recovering at Gemelli Hospital in Rome. The Vatican confirmed the diagnosis of pulmonary adenocarcinoma, a common lung cancer type, after tissue analysis during surgery. While the operation lasted about 90 minutes, the Pope spent nearly three hours in the operating room. His public appearances have been canceled until October 20, and it remains uncertain if his health will affect an upcoming trip to South America in November. Further tests on the removed tissue will determine the cancer's stage and spread.
