Low storage levels increase the risk of price volatility during winter, especially with potential cold spells. The UK, a major gas consumer, is particularly vulnerable due to limited storage capacity. The EU aims for 80% storage by winter, but geopolitical tensions have disrupted supply. Although gas prices have remained stable, traders anticipate increases this winter.
