On October 16, Cluj-Napoca's Union Square will host Romania's first human ribbon event against breast cancer, aiming to raise awareness and promote prevention. Nearly 300 participants, including patients, survivors, and medical staff, will form a human ribbon symbolizing solidarity. The initiative, "ONE RIBBON. MANY STORIES," organized by the Ion Chiricuță Oncology Institute, highlights the importance of early detection, especially in a country with low screening rates. The event will feature personalized t-shirts for participants and a raffle, emphasizing community involvement in cancer prevention efforts.
