Romanian companies, start-ups, universities, and organizations can access a new funding line for digital innovation with a total budget of €7.55 million. Each project can receive up to €2.2 million for initiatives in health, energy, and mobility. The Ministry of Economy announced the opening of the Financial Support Call for Third Parties, which will remain open until November 16, 2026. Eligible entities can form consortia with partners from other regions, and funding rates vary based on the type of organization. Projects must develop digital solutions from functional prototypes to market-ready products, with a focus on three main areas: digital health, decentralized energy networks, and smart transport systems.
