A historic building in Oradea, once a shelter for the homeless, has been fully restored and will open next week as the new headquarters of the Bihor County Council. The renovation cost over 8 million euros and took four years. Originally built between 1899 and 1900, the building served as a public finance palace until the end of World War II, later becoming a clinic. After years of abandonment, it has regained its former glory. The first council meeting in the new location is set for October 5.
