Seismic consolidation and restoration works at the Dacia-Romania Palace in Bucharest are ongoing, with preparatory interior interventions completed. The historic monument will house the Bucharest Pinacoteca, showcasing art collections from the Bucharest Municipality Museum. Future works will focus on the building's basement and foundations, including the removal of flooring and excavation for foundation beams. The project also involves restoring three facades while preserving original architectural elements. The execution contract, valued at 106.83 million lei, was signed in April 2026, with a completion target of June 2029, pending adherence to the work schedule.
