Pâinea, pastele și lactatele se scumpesc în 2026 din cauza războaielor din Ucraina și Orientul Mijlociu, precum și a căldurii extreme
Global food prices are projected to rise significantly by 2026 due to the ongoing war in Ukraine and other shocks. Wheat is expected to face the most pressure, leading to higher costs for bread and pasta. Extreme heat and drought in Europe have already impacted crop yields, with estimates for EU grain harvests being reduced. The conflict in Ukraine and tensions in the Middle East are exacerbating the situation, affecting energy and fertilizer prices. The FAO reports a 1% increase in global food prices, with cereals rising by 6.9%. The most affected products will be grains, fruits, vegetables, and dairy, while processed food prices will also rise, albeit with a delay.
