A 5-magnitude earthquake struck near Alhendín, Granada, causing material damage and prompting over 80 emergency calls. The quake occurred at a depth of about two kilometers and was felt across the region, with reports of falling objects and structural damage. A smaller aftershock of 2.6 magnitude was recorded shortly after. No casualties have been reported so far.
