"Pac, magie, s-a plătit". Banii de buzunar ai copiilor se mută pe card. Ce trebuie să știe părinții

The use of bank cards for children and teenagers is increasing, but parents should weigh the pros and cons. While cards offer convenience and monitoring, they also expose kids to fraud and potential over-reliance on technology. Many banks in Romania allow children as young as 10 to have cards, which can help them learn money management. However, experts warn that easy access to funds may lead to careless spending. Adolescents often do not grasp the effort behind earning money, which can result in impulsive purchases. Currently, two-thirds of Romanian teens receive pocket money, with younger ones averaging 300 lei monthly and older ones around 600 lei.
