The court's decision prevents the halt of sales worth over 60 million lei in a market exceeding 200 million lei. INSP's cancellation was based on a 2025 alert regarding methylene blue's EU authorization status, which was not linked to Terapia S.A.'s products. The law cited by INSP excludes herbal supplements from its scope, raising concerns about the rationale behind the cancellation. Despite the ruling, methylene blue remains available in pharmacies without prescription.
