Organizatorii competiţiei de drift desfăşurate în Piaţa Constituţiei au fost amendaţi cu 15.000 de lei de Garda de Mediu

The organizers of a recent drift competition in Bucharest's Constitution Square were fined 15,000 lei by the National Environmental Guard due to high levels of noise, exhaust gases, smoke, and tire particles. The event, held on October 3-4, was approved by local authorities but led to significant pollution complaints from residents. Inspectors found that the competition cars emitted substantial pollutants, affecting air quality beyond the event area. The interim Minister of Environment emphasized the need for serious discussions about air quality and pollution in the capital.
