Orchestra Operei Naționale București, pe scena Teatrului San Carlo din Napoli, într-o Gală de Operă

The National Opera of Bucharest Orchestra, conducted by Daniel Jinga, will perform an Opera Gala at Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, invited by the Romanian Embassy in Italy as part of the Romania-Italy Cultural Year 2026. Featured soloists include mezzo-soprano Ruxandra Donose, soprano Paula Iancic, and tenor Teodor Ilincăi. This marks the fourth Italian opera stage for the orchestra in under two years, following performances in Venice, Rome, and Milan. Jinga emphasized the significance of showcasing Romanian artists internationally, enhancing the promotion of Romanian musical education. The Teatro di San Carlo, inaugurated in 1737, is the oldest active opera house in the world. The event strengthens cultural ties between Romania and Italy.
