Oraşul New York va interzice inteligenţa artificială în şcolile publice până la liceu

New York City will ban the use of artificial intelligence in public schools until high school, allowing it only for specific applications. Chatbots providing psychological support will also be prohibited. The Department of Education recommends limiting screen time for younger students. These new rules follow a previous, more lenient framework that faced backlash from parents and teachers. A working group will be established to develop a comprehensive report on AI use in schools by April 2027.
