Orange vinde Palatul Telefoanelor din București - StartupCafe
Orange is selling the historic Palace of Telephones in Bucharest for €25.8 million, a building originally constructed in the 1930s. The structure spans 11,764 square meters and sits on a 2,252 square meter lot. Orange reopened the palace two years ago to consolidate its teams in the capital. The building, designed by American architects, was the tallest in Bucharest until 1956 and features a metal skeleton. It has undergone significant renovations due to damage from historical events, including bombings and earthquakes. Previously, Telekom attempted to auction the property in 2014 without success.
