Oradea: Stadler Polska, singurul ofertant pentru 14 tram-trenuri

The first tram-train network in Romania, to be built near Oradea, has progressed as Stadler Polska is the sole bidder for supplying 14 electric vehicles. The estimated contract value is nearly 462 million lei, excluding VAT. The Bihor County Council will assess the technical and financial offer to ensure compliance with the tender requirements. Approximately 455.8 million lei is allocated for vehicle acquisition, while 6.16 million lei is for maintenance services. The vehicles will operate on both tram and railway lines, featuring dual driving cabs and doors on both sides. This acquisition is part of a larger project, funded by 1.43 billion lei from European sources, which includes infrastructure upgrades and extensions to the tram network.
