Oradea și Szolnok vor să fie legate direct prin autostradă / Lipsesc circa 60 de kilometri / Ar facilita transportul de mărfuri și persoane între Bihor și estul Ungariei

The mayors of Oradea and Szolnok are collaborating to develop a fast connection between the two cities by extending Hungary's M4 highway to the Romanian border. Approximately 60 kilometers of highway need to be constructed to complete this corridor. The mayors discussed this initiative during a meeting facilitated by the Romanian ambassador to Hungary. The new route is expected to reduce travel time and enhance the transport of goods and people between Bihor and eastern Hungary. Currently, parts of the M4 are operational, but the section between Kisújszállás and Berettyóújfalu remains to be built.
