Oradea reduce consumul și produce mai multă energie pentru a ajuta sistemul național. Birta: Iluminatul public se va aprinde cu o oră mai târziu (VIDEO)

The Oradea City Hall is implementing measures to alleviate pressure on the national energy system due to prolonged drought and low water levels in the Danube. Public lighting will be turned on an hour later, companies will be asked to reduce or shift their energy consumption during peak hours, and Termoficare Oradea will increase its electricity production. Mayor Florin Birta announced these initiatives in a video statement, emphasizing the need for energy conservation. The public lighting change will save approximately 3.3 MWh nightly, while Termoficare will contribute around 350 MWh to the national grid. Residents are encouraged to reduce energy use during peak hours.
