Oracle pregătește un nou val de concedieri masive. Gigantul IT are mii de angajați în România
Oracle plans to implement another round of layoffs this month while heavily investing in AI infrastructure. The company aims to cut salary expenses as it borrows significantly for AI expansion. Although layoffs may reach double-digit percentages in some teams, it remains unclear if operations in Romania will be affected. Oracle has already reduced its workforce by about 21,000 employees this fiscal year. The company is spending billions on data centers and equipment for AI, with a projected need for an additional $40 billion this fiscal year. Despite strong cloud business growth, investor concerns about high costs and debt levels persist.
