Ora de iarnă 2026. Când se dau ceasurile înapoi cu o oră
Romania will switch to winter time on the last weekend of October 2026, when clocks will be set back one hour. This change occurs twice a year, in March and October. The transition will take place on the night of October 24-25, making October 25 the longest day of the year with 25 hours. The European Parliament decided in March 2019 to abolish the time change, but this requires confirmation from national parliaments. Daylight saving time was first introduced in Romania in 1932 to save energy.
