Border police in Borș discovered eight electric bicycles valued at €20,000 in a van entering Romania from Hungary. The bicycles were sought for confiscation following an alert from Austria. The driver, a 37-year-old Romanian, could not provide documentation for the bicycles. After checks, authorities confirmed the items were reported stolen. The bicycles were seized for further investigation, and a criminal case was opened against the driver for concealment.
