However, they lack sufficient votes for approval. Sandu responded by emphasizing her mandate from over 930,000 citizens to maintain peace and pursue European development. The opposition's arguments include social and economic grievances, claiming the government has failed its citizens. Despite the opposition's 46 signatures for the suspension proposal, they need 67 votes for it to pass, which they currently do not possess. If successful, a referendum would follow to determine Sandu's fate.
