Opoziția din Reublica Moldova inițiază procedura de suspendare a președintei Maia Sandu

The opposition in Chișinău has initiated parliamentary procedures to suspend President Maia Sandu, citing serious constitutional violations. The request was announced by Ion Chicu, leader of the PDCM, alongside representatives from other opposition parties. They argue that the political, social, and economic situation in Moldova has significantly deteriorated during Sandu's presidency. To proceed with the suspension, a two-thirds majority in parliament is required, which translates to at least 68 votes. If successful, a national referendum will determine Sandu's fate. The opposition claims that the current administration has failed to uphold constitutional principles and has exacerbated the country's crises.
