Opoziția din Republica Moldova pregătește revocarea Ancăi Dragu de la șefia Băncii Centrale. Este acuzată de eșecuri în politica monetară
Members of the Socialist Party of Moldova are preparing a parliamentary resolution to dismiss the governor of the National Bank, Anca Dragu, citing poor monetary policy results. They argue that inflation forecasts have worsened significantly and criticize the increase in the base rate. The Socialists also question the high salaries of the bank's leadership, emphasizing the need for accountability without undermining the bank's independence. They have previously approached the Constitutional Court regarding the legal grounds for the governor's dismissal. Anca Dragu, appointed in December 2023, has a seven-year mandate.
