Operatorii din portul Constanţa cer intervenţia urgentă a autorităţilor pentru deblocarea traficului pe Dunăre

Port operators are urging authorities to urgently intervene to unblock river traffic on the Danube after an incident on October 6 disrupted navigability. The Constanța Port Business Association (CPBA) reported that a vessel with an excessive draft caused significant delays in cargo transport to Constanța Port. The lack of operational measures to restore navigability is unacceptable, as it severely impacts maritime supply chains and the entire port economy. The blockage also affects the transport of Ukrainian grain, crucial for international food security. CPBA has called for immediate action to restore navigability and provide a clear timeline for necessary measures.
