Operațiunea de scufundare a celor patru barje în Dunăre, pentru creșterea debitului spre Centrala de la Cernavodă, a fost amânată pentru joi

The sinking operation of four barges in the Danube, aimed at increasing water flow to the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant, has been postponed to Thursday morning. State Secretary Ionel Scrioșteanu announced that the operation will begin at 8:00 AM, with the exact timing to be determined in a new operational meeting. The barges, previously scheduled for sinking on Wednesday, are intended to redirect part of the Danube's flow to support the power plant amid low water levels. Currently, only Unit 2 of the plant is operational, as Unit 1 was shut down due to the low water situation.
