The sinking operation of four barges in the Danube, aimed at increasing water flow to the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant, has been postponed to Thursday morning. State Secretary Ionel Scrioșteanu announced that the operation will begin at 8:00 AM, with the exact timing to be determined in a new operational meeting. Originally scheduled for Wednesday afternoon, the controlled sinking is intended to redirect part of the Danube's flow due to low water levels.
