Construction continues on Section 3 of the A1 Sibiu–Pitești Highway, focusing on the complex operations at Viaduct 23. The metal deck, weighing over 3,600 tons, is being launched in two stages to cross DJ 703H. The viaduct will measure 420 meters and consists of six spans of 70 meters each, positioned approximately 13 meters high. The assembly process requires precision and coordination, with each section being progressively launched over the viaduct's supports. This project is part of the challenging terrain of the highway, which necessitates various engineering structures.
